  • Please sell your ticket via Tixel. Tixel integrates directly with Tixr, which makes it incredibly easy to locate and resell your White Out tickets. To get started, visit their sellers page and select Log in with Tixr to enter your sign-in credentials. More information found here.

  • Yes, the main stage at White Out Festival is R18. However, White Out Festival kicks off with the Mt Hutt Rail Jam, an all-ages event with free entry so bring the family along to watch some of the country’s best compete on our purpose-built rail set up.

  • No, if you are under 18 you will not be allowed to enter the main stage at White Out Festival. You can attend the Mt Hutt Rail Jam in the afternoon.

  • There are only three types of ID accepted in New Zealand by law, all of which must be current and valid on the day of White Out Festival. These are:

    • NZ Photo Drivers’ Licence

    • NZ or International Passport

    • Kiwi Access Card (previously known as the ‘18+ Card’)

  • White Out Festival is held at Methven Racecourse in Methven, South Canterbury.

  • Yes, there are bus services that depart from Hide Club in Christchurch, Rolleston Library in Rolleston, and Ashburton I-Site in Ashburton. Bus passes are available to purchase for $25 + BF. For more information click here.

  • Dress for the climate! Winter nights in Methven can see negative temperatures - please be prepared by wrapping up warm.

  • There are three stages stretched out across the site, make sure you take some time to wander around and soak in the amazing location. If you're feeling a bit cold, head to our chill zone to warm up.

  • There are eftpos and cash payments available throughout the festival.
