Yes, the main stage at White Out Festival is R18. However, White Out Festival kicks off with the Mt Hutt Rail Jam, an all-ages event with free entry so bring the family along to watch some of the country’s best compete on our purpose-built rail set up.

No, if you are under 18 you will not be allowed to enter the main stage at White Out Festival. You can attend the Mt Hutt Rail Jam in the afternoon.

There are only three types of ID accepted in New Zealand by law, all of which must be current and valid on the day of White Out Festival. These are:

• NZ Photo Drivers’ Licence

• NZ or International Passport

• Kiwi Access Card (previously known as the ‘18+ Card’)

White Out Festival is held at Methven Racecourse in Methven, South Canterbury.

Yes, there are bus services that depart from Hide Club in Christchurch, Rolleston Library in Rolleston, and Ashburton I-Site in Ashburton. Bus passes are available to purchase for $25 + BF. For more information click here.
